The Longest 18 Holes
[Mon 01 June 09]
On Monday 22 June Luke Parry will, along with his business partner, attempt to complete the 'Longest 18 Holes'. They will play 18 holes of golf in one day from Kent all the way to the most western tip of Cornwall, to raise money for two very worthwhile causes – CHASE Hospice Care for Children and Southampton Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. The challenge will begin at 4.30am at The London Club in Kent and finish at Cape Cornwall, the most westerly course in England. The journey will last over 17 hours and see them travel in excess of 400 miles as they play 2 holes in each county along the route.
