  Since the first Halford Hewitt was played in 1930, Cranleigh have played 140 matches of which they have won 70, lost 69 and been given 1 walkover against Forest in 1953!

Cranleigh Have reached the final once in 1968 when they lost to Eton 3-2 and have reached 1 semi-final in 1974 when they lost to Charterhouse 4-1. The team for the 1968 final was: A. Maskall & P. Hunt, G. Davies & J. Davies, M. Burgess & L. Scott, R. Stovold & N. Paul, P. Bagley & A. Fortt.

Cranleigh have also reached the quarter final once on seven other occasions the last being in 1981 when they lost to Rossall 4-1.

Charterhouse beat Cranleigh every time (5 times in all) until Cranleigh won 3 1/2 - 1 1/2 in 2001.
